Hello! I’m Katie, a Graphic Designer and Art Director based in Los Angeles, where I currently live and work. In 2017, I received my undergraduate degree in Art + Technology and Art History from the University of Oregon’s College of Design. Go Ducks!

I’ve had the opportunity to work across both in-house and freelance environments, with a focus on brand management, communication design, and digital illustration. I currently work as a Senior Manager at LA28 on the Brand Design & Look of the Games team.

My practice is grounded in a fine art foundation, which naturally evolved into the digital design space. I’m drawn to work that preserves the energy of a gestural line or an initial sketch — design that feels thoughtful, human, and made by hand, even within highly refined digital systems. Whether I’m creating illustrations, typography, or broader visual identities, I aim to balance craftsmanship with clarity and modern functionality.

At its core, my work is driven by the belief that behind every visual experience — no matter how polished, familiar, or understated — there is an artist making intentional choices. That human presence is something I always strive to preserve in my work.

I spend my personal time sketching, swimming and eating all the food. I frequent museums, dog parks and flea markets.
